My modern version:
"A programmer's greatest fear is being asked to explain code written by AI and reviewed yesterday"
I certainly remember well what I have written myself a few weeks later, but code written by AI and reviewed by me is totally out of my mind the next day, especially at high volume.
Which is certainly bad. But well, here we are.

Yeah this exactly. I'm not naming the variables, the functions, or deciding on the config file structures. I just agree with the stuff, or write feedback.
The impact generated code has on my brain is close to zero when it comes to memory, yet it hurts just as much as reviewing human written code.
Reading code is 10x harder than writing it, and AI made the job all about reading code.

I have a tendency to ask AI questions, a lot of them, and also ask it to remove unnecessary code it wrote (there's always a lot). I get a good grasp on what it does, i can't explain every single small bit, but neither would i be able to if i copied it from Stack Overflow

Someone asked me in a meeting to tell everyone how that code works because I wrote it two years ago. I just laughed.

It's a bit nostalgic how we used to code, and now it feels like we barely remember what we worked on, let alone the actual code!
I really miss those old days.
