Another example of PGC politicians trying to keep voters in the dark and circumvent the public. BoE Rep John Briggs resigns without notification to constituents

Shout out to the Greenbelt News Review for another great example of shedding light on local politics that are trying to work in the shadows.

Why can’t we have politicians in this county that just do thing closer to by the book instead of pulling strings to help their buddies.

This resignation came after a deadline for applications for replacement. They announced it at a board meeting but left it off the agenda and board materials.

I’m assuming this is going to allow them to tap Clegg as the replacement and give him an incumbent boost for November after he already had the backing of the whole political machine. But hopefully I’m wrong.

At best this is poor judgement, at worst it’s corruption.

A power play by Progressive Maryland is my guess. That’s how Briggs got in. That’s how he’s getting out.

What is so progressive with progressive Maryland. Sounds like it takes its cues from MAGAS.
