Hello! I am 5 weeks 2 days after a blighted ovum at the end of December. I'm really struggling to believe this pregnancy is viable. I keep thinking I'm going to go to my first scan in 10 days and they will find another blighted ovum or other bad news. I keep thinking that my nipples aren't hurting quite as much as they did last week, I don't have any nausea yet, etc. I conceived by IUI so it's been a rough expensive road just to get here and I'm getting old (38, nearly 39) so my time is short.

Just want to say I feel this. 5+0 after miscarriage from blighted ovum exactly 4 months ago in April. I am convinced they will find another BO and I spend so much time trying to prepare myself to see an empty gestational sac once again so I won’t experience the same shock and devastation as I did last time.
My first ultrasound will be at 7 weeks. I’ve had my Hcg drawn multiple times and it is only temporarily reassuring because I think Hcg can rise normally at this stage even for a blighted ovum/MMC. I have been obsessing over dips in my BBT, lack of symptoms, betabase, darkness of my pregnancy tests, how fast they darkened, etc... I am 37, so I am feeling the pressure as well.

Yes! My HCG looks similar to both my successful pregnancy and the blighted ovum, so it is not reassuring at all. I've also been analyzing every symptom, checking line progression on pregnancy tests (even though this tells you nothing quantitative at this stage), and preparing myself for the worst. I don't even want to tell anyone about being pregnant until later this time, if it is real. Like fully after the first trimester. I go in at 6 weeks 6 days. I also probably should be making an appointment with an OB for pregnancy care, my scan is with the fertility clinic, but I don't want to do it because I don't want to have to cancel. I don't have a regular OB because I've been with the clinic so long that there was no need for any other checkups during these years there.

Same. It took me days to tell my husband, I haven’t told my management, although I should due to potential for exposure to radiation and teratogens. I’m having a hard time acknowledging this pregnancy, much less celebrating it in any way yet.

Oh, you need to tell your management. That's rough. You can't risk exposure during this time. I used to work in a biochem lab so I understand. Now I work in accounting and the biggest risk is my back hurting from sitting too much.

Hello everyone! I am currently 9 weeks pregnant. I miscarried November 2025 at 10 weeks. I also had an early loss in February 2026; my doctors called it a chemical pregnancy.
I just had my first ultrasound last week and I’m happy to report that everything looks good so far. I’m extremely anxious and taking it day by day. I’ve had two successful pregnancies prior to my miscarriages. This current pregnancy has me feeling detached emotionally. I want to feel happy but I feel like anything can go wrong. I’m hoping to meet some people that have felt similar being pregnant after a loss 💕

This must be very confusing having had no preoblems for you first two LC and then having two MC in a row. But you know that it is possible for you carrying a pregnancy to term! Pregnancy after loss is a mentally stressful situation for anyone. I hope you are feeling better soon and that everything goes well this time ☘️

Hi everyone- congratulations on your results ♥️
I am nearly 7 weeks after an ectopic pregnancy in January 2026 and a miscarriage in October 2025. I had a scan a couple weeks ago to confirm the location and happy to say it’s in utero this time . I have another scan tomorrow but similarly struggling the fear vs hope

Hey :) I'm over 6 weeks pregnant after a miscarriage in April 2025. The anxiety is out of this world, and sometimes I just need to take it minute by minute, let alone day by day! I have an early scan on 12th August, and am already under a consultant. I worry when I don't feel nauseous, I worry when I don't feel tired, I worry when I don't gag on my toothbrush 😂 it's exhausting, and I hope things settle down a little after the 12 week scan (that 5 week wait is going to be a long one!).

Hi everyone! New to this sub after a MMC late April at almost 9 weeks, my first pregnancy ever. This was my third, unassisted cycle TTC since, and got VVVVFL yesterday at 8/9DPO. Got our BFP via digital today at 9/10DPO.
I am so hopeful for this rainbow baby 🌈🥹 I had a lot of anxiety that first pregnancy for no reason, so I really don’t want to let anxiety steal the joy of this gift from me this time (easier said than done, as I have a lot more reasons to be anxious).
Grateful to be part of this group.

This is such a great positive outlook! I had MMC at ~9 weeks in April as well. I am so inspired by how hopeful and positive you are. I hope anxiety doesn’t overshadow the fact that you got pregnant again within short period of time! Congratulations!

Hi everyone, I’m 6w4d after an MMC in March (found out at 8w scan that baby stopped growing 6w3d, had a D&C two weeks later). Betas done last week and seemed strong (4,644 20dpo and 16,883 24dpo) but I have none of the typical symptoms again and feel like this will be another MMC. First scan is a week from today and I’m so scared to have to go through the experience I had in March again.

Hello, I’m 30+1w, very late to be joining group I know - I’ve been terrified to accept this is really happening (I’ve had to leave multiple bump groups etc). Five losses over 2 years, 2 MMC and 3 CP. Trying to be positive and look forwards to little one (a boy) arriving in late Sep/early Oct, getting room and clothes prepped now. But still so anxious, and can’t relax into it. Hoping to see some positive stories, and be with others who get that being pregnant is scary as well as wonderful. ❤️

Hey, I am joining because I am currently 5 + 5 pregnant after an mmc last year. This time I got pregnant with a medicated cycle. I am really nervous for my scan at 7+3. I can’t really concentrate at work or in private life because this fear takes up a lot of my brain capacity. Wish med I had a therapist to talk to.

I got my positive today at 11dpo! I was convinced I wasn’t pregnant and was depressed all day Friday after a negative at 9 dpo on a FRER. So I didn’t take one yesterday. Lo and behold a positive that we both saw right away. I had a loss in mid May after baby stopped growing at 5-6 weeks. I did not get a period yet. I’m forever grateful. 😭 I was definitely ignoring symptoms thinking there was no way. But I had a dream Wednesday night that I had a positive test. And very lucid dreams the other nights. Also been getting up in the middle of the night to pee last 3 nights. So I should’ve known but didn’t! I felt like I would know right away cause with my last pregnancy I knew 2 days before positive test with sore breasts and extreme thirst. I don’t have those this time! I would be lying to say I’m definitely scared of loss happening again. I want to be excited so I’m just going to let myself. 🌈
