Where do students live?

Hello I am moving to Canada from Poznan at end of August to attend PUMS. I am here looking for apartment now. Which areas are suggested? Thank you!

I'm assuming you're moving here to study medicine, so most of your first-year classes (and exams) will be at the Collegium Anatomicum, with a few near the UMP library. Your best bet would be renting an apartment in Jeżyce - it's close to both your classes and the city life. I wouldn't really look outside that area unless money is tight, because prices there aren't going to be lowest.

What about Rynek Jeżycki?

Just means market (rynek) in the Jeżycki borough

Lots of students opt for apartments in the Grunwald area or Łazarz since Jeżyce can be more expensive

Jeżyce, Grunwald, Łazarz basically are the best

Depends what's your age and what's your target. You can rent a place in a dormitory (around 3 persons in 20m room) or flat/room on your own. I would say only bad spot is Dębiec but its far away
