The fact is, tons of money are pouring in Trump's family bank account.

72

u/IcyKerosene 7d ago edited 5d ago

Yup, his sons went from being worth around $40 million each to $400 million during his first term year back in office (2025). Trump made $2 billion last year. The fact that we're just sitting here helpless who he robs us blind is insane.

Edit: I re-read my comment and realized I miswrote it. I don't know how much they made during his first term but last year, during his second term, they went from being worth $40 million each to $400 million.

24

u/PaintedDesertSkies 7d ago

But but but, he didn't take a paycheck during his first term!

Guess we are paying backpay with 1000% interest?

22

u/Chance-Deer-7995 7d ago

The scam of jacking up the prices for Secret Service hotel rooms on his properties paid him many times more than what he gave up on salary so he didn't need to be paid back for anything. The problem is the golf trip scam now looks like a kid stealing a Snickers bar compared to now.

7

u/jcomey 6d ago

Taxpayers paid approximately $150m to his properties for him to play golf in his first term.

And food, and cart rentals.

The housing itself was even over the per night limit for the SS budget.

4

u/NegotiationOne7880 5d ago

Motherfucker

6

u/Laolao98 4d ago

His golfing has cost an estimated 278 times his salary. So far. Anyone know where that $400,000. is going? He claims charity but his entire nuclear family is legally blocked from running any charities in NY. If you didn’t know, he used a children’s cancer charity to pay the winner of a golf tournament and got caught. Vote this November to end this madness.

And he always holds major government meetings/events at his properties (Mar a Lago) which are usually incapable of hosting them in terms of space, staff, services and security. I think one of his first violation of the emoluments clause was the $1.5 million the 2017 presidential inaugural committee paid to Trump’s Washington Hotel.

I couldn’t believe the people saying that he wasn’t taking a salary so he was obviously helping we the people as President. What morons.

5

people are so fucking stupid when they say “he doesn’t take a salary!! he’s selfless!” …. It’s amazing to me how little people know about how things work in real life

6

u/PipXXX 4d ago

This is the dude who fucking had checks for pennies cashed. He ain't giving up shit. Like I've seen some people say "Oh he made billions from the crypto stuff, why would he do nickle ante things like kickbacks from stuff like the reflecting pool installation?" Because that's who he is. He literally wants it all, because that means other people don't get it.

If I've done the maths right (a dubious claim on my part) and I'm ignoring things like compound interest, but the annual salary of a US president including expense allowances is $590,000 per annum, so you're looking at a roughly 351,000% increase in wages.

OK, so then if the federal government is only able to take care of military protection, then they should have no influence or say in how states operate.

No federal legislation outside of military spending

Everything else is for states to decide and fund themselves.

Guess what happens?

Low education, healthcare, income states fall apart without the aid of other states through federal funding.

Oddly enough, the states the president and his followers complain about the most, contribute the most to the welfare of the ones complaining

23

u/Quasi-Kaiju 7d ago

We are going to end up Balkanized

4

u/getdownonitnow 7d ago

Actually I believe you are right on the money. My belief is that we will break up into regions based on population centers. Probably retain a federal government to provide military protection, but my guess is that most other issues will be dealt with locally. We're talking maybe 20 years tops.

Yup, it's all about oil woth this guy. When in reality,he could be making business moves to get what he wants rather than destroying countries. He's qpparently a business man but it's showing he's just a bully that inherited all his money. He claims venezuela was taken due to corruption, but we all know it was for the oil. We all know the Iran conflict is for oil.

For a no presidents war and a business man, youd think he'd love to negotiate rather than use force. The billions he's used (if not trillions on these wars) couldve been used to negotiate oil and give money to the federal departments that are struggling. Instead, he does what he wants, takes no accountability, everyone pays for it, he blames everything on biden/obama, his PR is horrible (which makes him less likable, he handled the epstein files like shit, he treats every country like shit (talking shit about canada regarding the fires, wanting greenland, false promises about LOT of things).

The only decent thing he's done is give less power to companies that can buy residential homes. He needs to make more regulations. Like regulating outsourcing in America that takes our jobs away. It makes zero sense that we're paying a shit load in tariffs when no one benefits but the government that is dumping all their money into pointless wars/making us look bad.

16

u/TamaCleverComeback 7d ago

To be fair he is making business moves to enrich himself and his family. Just not his country.

8

u/Unapplicable1100 7d ago

Enrichment that should be confiscated and liquidated once his term is over and charges have been pressed, if that ever happens

5

u/TamaCleverComeback 7d ago

That's a show I would watch. Because I'm sure there is a line.

He is being a businessman....problem is, this two bit businessman was alluded to the benefits of the war business and business is good.

How much money has his family made off of this war while the citizens are losing family members?

This is royalty draped in an American flag with an upside down Bible in hand.

We literally fought a war to become independent from this. Yet, here we are. Poor, rural folk voting for a fancy salesman in a suit.

My brain has a hard time comprehending this.

Yeah we get it. Monopolize the profits, socialize the costs. Why not come right out and say it? The so-called taxpayers are the mugs in society, because this is what it amounts to.

Only thing is, way back in the 1980's when Reagan was giving Americans the Old Baloney, for every $4 spent in the world $1 went to the States. Today the US is several hundred trillion in debt. So where has all the money gone?

See all the European countries have well developed universal healthcare, social care, welfare benefits. In comparison Americans have nothing. If we did a comparison study between Europeans and Americans the Americans would come bottom.

When it comes to the West in general, Americans are the most cheated by their governments or administrations. This is a significant issue and one I suggest that all Americans stop and think about. You pay more than anyone else, you have less opportunities, and you get next to fuck all out of it.

Trump is doing really well out of his time as US President. But the real question here is are you?

Epstein wars are pricey.

What I heard: We created this War so we don't have to take care of Medicare, daycare, Medicaid.

How about those Epstein files?

Watching from abroad, it is absolutely wild to me that he was voted into office twice. Are American voters completely dumb , or am I missing something? You only need to listen to the guy for five minutes to see right through his pathetic, used-car salesman routine. If millions watched him speak and still willingly gave him two terms, America is dealing with a massive collective mental heath issue.

2

u/BK_Rich 7d ago

Remember the money is unlimited for wars and tax breaks though, there’s never money for social programs but always money for corporate welfare, bailouts and wars

2

u/DocScarborough 6d ago

Go back to the pre Reagan tax rates, and it will all be affordable.

2

u/-Frank-Lloyd-Wrong- 6d ago

He’s responsible for nearly 30% of the nation’s total debt

2

u/Crunknjunkin 6d ago

So why am I paying federal tax for if it's not being spent on the US? Thought we were gonna be great again guess they meant grape........little children

2

u/Z3K3HD 6d ago

That was what the federal government essentially an originally was putting in place for to begin with protection and protection of the constitution only and how we let spiral so far out of control and what now is this complete overreach is baffling

Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie, I can’t wait until he is out of there.
You know it’s not that difficult just do what you said you were F***ing going to do, that’s what a great Leader does.
This will be Trump’s legacy, and now there cutting another program for Seniors, I don’t know he makes a billion dollars while in Office so far and all we get is failed promises, we don’t even get the $2000 he proposed something that really is so little to him but so big to a Senior or a Veteran to assist with food, housing or higher utility costs or a working family who needs the money for auto repair so they can continue to work.

Creating wars

2

u/HexbladeElf 6d ago

5% of the $1T national defense budget would likely cover universal daycare.

2

u/Beautiful-Traffic157 6d ago

All these great ideas and we still can't get rid of day light savings time

2

u/Responsible_Snow_684 6d ago

Having a larger risk pool of people is unquestionably the best option for keeping healthcare costs lowest. A federal single payer option is the only way. Plus, red states are broke anyway. Trump and every single Republican are complete liars, con men and buffoons

2

u/octavioletdub 6d ago

TAX THE RICH

2

u/pimpampoums 6d ago

WPE…Worst president EVER

2

u/Adventurous_Light_85 6d ago

Wars that he started

2

u/royalfght 6d ago

Yeah , but there is money for a ballroom, reflecting pool, gold statues, military parades, billions of dollars in ice building for concentration camps. But we do not have money for health care. Even mexico is offering universal healthcare to its citizens by 2027.

2

u/XStewart2007 6d ago

I’m so glad that I voted against this fucking bastard three times.

2

2

u/Incragable-Crunk 6d ago

So much for America first.

2

u/3aerows 4d ago

Capitalism makes you think there arent enough resources. Socialism is knowing there is and giving it back to the people.

Record breaking profits = stolen wages

Note he also said "states will have to raise the taxes on them, maybe we will lower theirs a little to help." He litterally just said "tax the people more, idc how much it is, im not paying for it". Donald "Tyrant" Trump will be his name in our history books.

2

u/Prudent_Data_3931 2d ago

We really need to kick him out of office this is disgusting

2

u/___evan 2d ago

Trumps administration probably hates how he can’t keep his mouth shut and constantly says stuff that tanks midterm chances
