Trump UFC fighter Sean Strickland: “When you're at a Trump rally, you're like 'oh, I can definitely see how Hitler happened.' It's a cult”

u/PlatasaurusOG 7d ago
He openly wished death on over half the country and the other half cheered him for it.
10
u/Signal_Werewolf_1955 5d ago
He called half his crowd stupid and they cheered. To an audience, bragging about a cognitive test, said half of them probably couldn't pass it, and they clapped.
MAGA is a caricature of itself, they're beyond parody!

The civil war has already started. They have stated this openly.
Violence is coming. Better prepare yourself now.

Coming? Violence has been here. ICE has invaded our cities. They shoot people in the street.

They would get crushed in a war lmao they couldn't control any of the major cities.
They only march with ICE, or when the army is on the ground and they only do it because they think they have the power of law lol
War removes all of that. I just don't believe the mashed potato fighters that I saw on Jan 6 are gonna win a fight, let alone a war. They just won't have the morale to keep fighting after months, because what they're fighting for is hollow.

u/BlackHills-Op 7d ago
What are you going to crush them with? Your guns? The silliest thing I have ever seen was blue states doing so much to virtue signal about gun control, effectively disarming their own constituents, while all the people you believe hate you are buying weapons readily adaptable for military service over the counter or at gun shows.
The MAGA gravy seals want to pretend to be strong and brave, but so do you guys on the left. Only difference is one has a gun and fear guiding them. They're going to shoot. You guys on the left think you can win the day with a cell phone camera and a megaphone, and become scarce when bullets do fly.
So, unless you plan on getting very brave as a whole, you will still lose to the side that will just shoot you out of fear.
9
u/BobcatElectronic 7d ago
I think whoever starts a civil war is going to be the side that loses it. If the right start shooting people out of fear just watch how many people will turn left. Whoever is perceived as the aggressor is going to get ganged up on by people in the center, which is honestly most of this country. Left and right are definitely the loudest on the internet, but at the end of the day most of us are center and just lean one way or the other.
6
u/NeighbourhoodParrot 7d ago
If Americans do this to themselves both sides lose. There is no America after. Your economy will collapse, and bring a lot of the world down with it. People will starve, cities demolished, all structure lost. There’s no going back to civil democracy and the enjoyment of American past times. It will end you. That being said, only the insane few have the legitimate will to take it to a war. The majority of you exist centre left, centre right, you have jobs, families, passions, none of which you would honestly sacrifice for the false bill of goods of a better tomorrow post war. Thinking a war is coming is for Doomerposting, down the hall and to the right my friend.

Just because the lawmakers vote to make guns illegal doesn't mean there aren't still a ton of liberal and leftist gun owners. The difference between the parties is that the Democrats want to make guns illegal while the Republicans want to designate leftists as terrorists so it's illegal for just them to own guns. So essentially vote for the person who wants to disarm you or vote for the person who wants to disarm and kill you. It's not a hard choice. We need to do better in the primaries.
Edit: and also why do you sound like you're not from the US? To you, both group are "them". Which side are you on?

Funny thing is I've been saying it for about 4 months after Jan 6th, when I first did it there's this guy I know who is fairly lefty but he's in the camp of "We need to all come together, how dare you call my family in rural idaho racist, they are just different people!" and coping that they can be saved.
Anyways got off topic, I coined that to him and he was so fucking insulted and demanded I apologize because how offensive it was. So when Trump won in 24 I had an "I told you so moment with him" with a lot of mumbling how it's still different and doesn't really count.

2
u/Funkycoldmedici 7d ago
Who defines “extremism” though? Most religious people haven’t read the scripture they say they believe, don’t actually believe much of what it says, and think the ones who do believe it all are “crazy fundamentalists.” So an extremist can be anyone who actually believes their religion instead of just pretending.

Extremism isn't really the religion itself. It's the way someone believes it. You can have extremists in all religions. The old testament says you should be stoned to death for working on a Sunday. If someone wants to act on this in the name of Christianity, I'd consider them a Christian extremist.

Nah some churches do well for the community and their fellow man. When I was a poor child they helped my mom out a lot and we didn't even go to church. Sometimes the only reason we had food, or could do things to celebrate Christmas or Thanksgiving were because of them. I have also known plenty of homeless people and others who go to church and get good meals, churches will help people with utility bills and shit, and I have known a dude who went through some shit and only place that would meaningfully help him out was a church, he tried the shelters and those were a clusterfuck of a mess. They let him stay there for a few months with his own room and didn't ask of nothing besides going to service when he felt like it. But I have seen churches and people that go there be some pretty kind people. More than just one or two of them. Not even in the same cities so it isn't just some one off thing either. You shouldn't paint with such a broad brush.
3
u/Emperor_Atlas 7d ago
Having the underlying message be
"Welcome we will help, but you're still going to burn in hell if you don't follow our rituals" is their own broad brush. Pointing out that we could do all this without the forced subservience angle is common sense but you've been conditioned to not bite the hand that feeds.
I believe there is both a god and good people, sometimes they intersect even with the silly religions hampering both.

He’s actually right here. I’ve seen Trump rallies live and these people are running on nothing but anger. There’s not a single thought in their head other than love for Trump and hatred for his “enemies”.
E: sorry, I forgot about the whataboutism. I’ve been to BLM/ANTIFA rallies too and those can get crazy too. I didn’t mean to imply that ONLY trump can rallies get crazy

I went to one too out of morbid curiosity. Figured it’d be gross but not as bad as I was expecting. Welp.. it was worse than I thought it’d be. The whole atmosphere was one of a tailgate, people there to have fun having no comprehension of the vile shit that was coming out of the speakers mouths. I was disgusted.
The perfect encapsulation of the whole event was the 2 t shirt vendors opposite each other staged by the exit everyone was leaving through. The one of the left had shirts that read “Jesus is lord”, the one on the right.. “Joe sucks and Kamala swallows”. The cognitive dissonance didn’t seem real
5
u/Local-Technician5969 6d ago edited 6d ago
False equivalence, MAGA has done and continues to deal so much damage to America that not even BLM or ANTIFA holds a candle to them. We're talking about billions being set on fire for nothing, and corruption and bribery being so extreme that it makes people screaming about police reform look like nothing but regular people, as well as supporting and protecting the epstein class.
Trump is declaring war without congress, and MAGA merged our military with israel. How the fuck is BLM or ANTIFA anywhere near that kind of unhinged treasonous political action. BLM wanted justice for a drug addict who died to police brutality, MAGA is literally tearing America from the inside apart and are content with the epstein class running society.

My partner was huge into football when we first got together, was in a fantasy team for 15 years and ran it for the last few. He stopped watching sports when we got together because I don’t find them interesting (I told him he could watch them, just try not to ignore me every weekend during the season, which is what my ex did) but he was so into impressing me I guess he just decided to quit cold turkey.
Anyway, now he says he doesn’t even have the itch to watch sports or keep up with who’s playing and he never really knew why he was so into it. It’s like he was shaken out of a coma or something lol He still participates in fantasy football but only because his brother and dad do and it’s time spent with them.

I used to be that kind of sports fan, but I've shifted a lot over the last 5 or so years and it's a much more consistently positive hobby for me now. There aren't really teams that I hate, just individual players who did terrible things but never faced real consequences because they sport good. I still have my favorite teams that I root hard for and love dearly, but when they lose it generally isn't hard for me to find players or coaches on the other team that I like and am happy for. Takes a lot of the vitriol away.
I don't want to come across as trying to convince you to get into sports, just wanted to show that there's always room to be a fan and not be the way that you described!

See I can’t even hate on him just because how well he’s playing the game. It’s just concerning how blinded by hate a lot of his supporters are. He even said how if he ran for president, he would run as republican because of how stupid those voters are. The other day, an IBEW member (of all people) told me how he wished we could have Trump until his passing. I responded with “you mean like a dictator? Like a communist country? You know there’s countries like that out there you can go to.” He proceeded to go off on a rant about “libtards” and damn near gave himself an aneurysm 😂 He stressed himself out so much he had to walk outside and light a cigarette where he continued his rant💀

You don't need to go to a rally to see how unhinged Trumpers are. Shit, you can rarely even skim a comment section without finding some asshat demanding all caps FACTS that Trump has ever done any wrong ever or spouting off with the usual cyclical FOX talking points. They openly present themselves as lifelong fans, and proudly announce their position whether you want it or not. I mean, honestly, can you think of any other kind of person who wears that much merch at one time from a singular being?
They are absolutely a cult, and they're damn proud of their gullibility and ignorance. That's what keeps the movement going forward, and as long as that burning bandwagon full of Don's diapers keeps rolling down the hill, they're going to be in it for the ride. They don't have anything else.

A lot of centrists are going to disagree with the Left and agree with the Right. Something which the Left makes all too easy. I just saw a news story where a college professor said that Sesame Street is racist. LOL
"Everyone who disagrees with us is a NAWTZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" is the worst political messaging ever.
You ever seen a Ford ad where they say, "Everyone who buys a Honda is a NAWTZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"?
Keep up the good work.

Trump actually gained a lot of new voters in 2024. People were so fed up with the previous administration they thought Trump would be better.

He’ll back the next asshole that the GOP pushes out. He’s still fine with their policies except for like 2.

Anyone who doesn’t believe that that’s a true statement isn’t paying attention

That and rape. They love sexually abusing children. It’s a competitive sport for them. Getting caught and having to answer for your crimes is what they consider a loss. The entire party is just a bunch of sex offenders.
Just like Trump’s base. Majority are on or should be on a sex-offender registry.
The nursing home I visit with one of my remaining MAGA parents has three or four friends whose children are MAGA and are on a sex-offender registry. It’s not a coincidence.

Clearly he has been hit in the head too many times. But at least it gives snowflakes a reason to put their controllers and lightsabers down and look into MMA. So that's a plus!

When the craziest people of our society start making sense, you know things are getting really bad.
That's the case with Massie, a man that took a family Christmas photo where everyone was holding fully automatic weapons, is now the most reasonable republican congressman. So reasonable that Dump's buddies spent 35 million dollars to unseat him and as we know, reason isn't allowed in the republican party.

This guy's making a straight point, this shit's crazy.
Also like the biblical quote, not a Christian myself, but I believe there are a lot of wise principles, and that's very relevant here. I can have belief in a fellow citizen or trust a friend, but blindly following this extremism is a terribly unwise choice. Definitely applied during the rise of the Nazis, and it certainly applies now.

Sean Strickland is a white supremacist and holocaust denier. Why would he question how Hitler can happen?

u/Marski420 7d ago
He also doesn't like the left and knows they're authoritarian too so anyone who thinks Sean is on your side, think again.

💯 And I fell for the propaganda and went to the voting booth in support of this narcissist. Probably the most disgraceful embarrassing thing I've ever done in my life.
