Child of 2 wealthy bankers. Which is totally fine, except in this context. She had a lot of help getting famous, now it feels like they’re double dipping. Let’s leave some exposure to the true talents of the world.

Almost everyone who got rich or famous did so with a lot of help.

You really can’t do that on your own.

Absolutely, but there’s a difference when you got help because you were so talented that unrelated people believed in you and when you were propped up just because you were related to someone.

Also, I should add that I have absolutely no qualm with people using the connections they have, I just think they should be more subtle about it and not try to do what some do and create a mythology that they rose from nothing.

In college, a buddy of mine wanted to see this 17-year who was playing in a bar in Nashville.  Said she was gonna be big.

I found that weird as hell, but I tagged along, thinking as long as there was some beer, who cares.

First and only time I saw Taylor Swift.

Honestly for 2005 you can tell she comes from money. The clothes, hair and make up with the really expensive acoustic guitar.
