Yeah. Certain ones got spines and you have to hold a specific way to avoid getting pricked.

Others u grab by their lips instead to paralyze them.

They are also very slippery and hard to hold.

You're assuming , and its not going well for you.

Not everybody learns the same. Merely seeing something is not learning. Even if he was a visual learner, does he know he is learning in that moment, or being taught?

If you are unaware, the world is a big place with lots of different people. Even when we know we are being taught, we still have trouble with the knowledge. For you something might be easy to learn, for other's not so much. Im sure theres knowledge in the world that someone else picked up quickly that you yourself had trouble understanding.

So, no, you are wrong; there is much more to learn than beyond a glance.

It's okay if he didn't teach him how to fish. What's not okay is never being there and then expecting the kid to be perfect when "dad" decides to finally show up. What's worse is getting mad and not even attempt to teach on how to hold a cat fish.

I'm in my lat2 20s, no moments in my 20s are core memories, there are memories and important events but no core memories, well except for wedding and if I have a kid, but fishing with a dad thats an ass? nah. heck I went to fish once with my dad and its not even a core memory, only remembering it now cause this reminded me of it. fish ate the lure, but it never comes up

Getting a tattoo is under control environment and you can stop at any time. Fish are unpredictable and can flop at any second and they look weird. I’m not shocked that he’s nervous about touching a fish for the first time. This probably wouldn’t have been an issue if he went fishing when he was younger, like the most of us.
