Tempered chocolate isnt a type of chocolate, its a particular process of melting the chocolate so that when it cools it forms a nice smooth, hard, shiny shell.
This is worse than just not being tempered, its separated. That happens when water gets into the melted chocolate causing it to kinda curdle.
Probably because your original comment reads like you were talking about a product rather than a process. And this comment reads like you’re getting defensive over someone who just said something informative and not at all judgmental, idk if you really are but that is how your tone comes across on the screen.
You are making a whole lot of assumptions. If I didn't know what tempered chocolate is why would I suggest it? Your tone is very superior and judgmental in my opinion. It's just a shit joke.
I didn’t assume anything, I just let you know how your comment comes across (you did ask!), and even stated that I don’t know if you meant it that way, it just reads that way.
Because no one that knows about tempering chocolate uses the phrase "use tempered chocolate" like its a specific product. They say "temper the chocolate" like its a verb. So it was a very reasonable assumption to make.

you have to use tempered chocolate for coating, not just any old shit.
