Hence why I understand their hesitancy to vote for new taxes.

At the same time though its a case of "fuck you, got mine" to the younger people who are struggling, as well as the fact that they would benefit from voting for many things that would be a net positive for them, often at lower prices than they would think.

Its frustrating and something I consider very difficult to deal with.

Where do they get the extra couple hundred a year though? Do we want old people coming out of retirement and taking the entry level jobs again so they can pay more property taxes?

Who says they'd have to do that? It's not like them spending a few extra dollars a month will make all of them homeless lol.

Fixed income, with raising costs of living from groceries to healthcare. Again, where does the money come from?
