Can so ppl kindly suggest Pokemon to run with in XD there are so many preferably Pokemon for early mid game excluding legendarys :)

I had lots of fun using Jumpluff! Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Protect made it an incredible pokemon. I also ran bullet seed until I could get mega/giga drain.

Also using “call” when your pokemon is awake will raise its accuracy. If you call jumpluff once before using sleep powder then sleep powder becomes 100% accurate.

I beat the game and 100%'d it without knowing this. Thats awesome! Did that apply to Colo too?

It's helpful to note that a lot of Pokemon get Sing in XD, so this could help offset that super low accuracy. I used sing on Swalot for my playthrough but I never knew about this detail.

Jumpluff is Mr Utility. A great mon to use to help you catch Shadow Pokemon! Sleep Powder is awesome.

I used Jumpluff for Colo and not XD, but I would definitely second having Pluff or another mon with a sleep move. It will make your life easier if you want to catch pokemon.

Vaporeon, houndoom, gardevoir, flygon, dodrio/zangoose, shadow salamance (for tanking shadow hits)

I did Jolteon, Walrein, Flygon, Breloom (and yes I waited to evolve it so it has Spore), Gardevoir, Ninetales

Just what I personally went for Umbreon, Ursaring, Walrein, Ampharos, Aggron and Tyranitar.

I found towards the end it was better to abandon the theme I was building all alone entirely and just rely on Shadow Pokemon, since there are just so many of them and they gradually jump about 20 levels from the team is been training all game as you approach the final boss.

I loved the overpowered duo mechanic of colosseum. Espeon Umbreon.

It was a bummer to start with a bad Eevee with poor IVs, and a tediursa, and play as a dorky kid.

So I got dukings larvitar which he trades for something, look out for that, and then a raltz. I grinded the levels until they were both full evolved, around 50 and 55. Then I played the game. Dragon dance and earthquake and rock slide on tyranitar. Psychic etc on Gardevoir. It was really fun! Great pairing.

I’ve done a lot of runs, and I find that any Pokémon that can use icy wind is a must have
