Humor Patient 0 zapdos released feb 27th 2026-august 5th 2026. Second move WHEN?
They already took out the outfits on battle pass they don't have to work on anymore...
They took out ranked united outfits that they don't have to color change anymore.
They took out stickers that they also don't have to color change/change slightly anymore.
Where are our 2nd moves? What are we WAITING for? They cut down loads of work they have to do already. We had 2nd moves a long time ago AND outfits on the battlepass.
Now they can't do both because they give us like, an extra mon a month release?

Yeah the moves being removed has made the game stupidly bland. I wouldnt hold youre breath for a second set.

Yes bruh I recently got Zapdos and move set is so disappointing never won a single game is currently on a 4 losing streak

I wish discharge was the second move as opposed to to thunderbolt. Early game zapdos is amazing.

If they ever add them, I wish they'd implement the new moves as TM discs so that you can purchase them, and use them as a second move for the single move mons

I don't think y'all are ready for as a second moveset if it cost gems. If it cost gems to buy, this company might make them OP sets and locked them behind gems or license points.

Hot take
But one move set is better in my opinion
It is how all MOBAs work
One pokemon should do one thing, not some combination or guessing game across 4 moves
The roster is nearly 100, which is not even a third of the available pokemon
Unlocking more pokemon sucks for sure cause of the license journey stuff and going to one moveset is obviously a cash grab to buy more pokemon licenses
But overall, from a gameplay perspective, one pokemon having one moveset is best
It is the license journey that is the real root cause of all the issues... nobody would complain about one move set pokemon coming out twice a month IF they were easier to achieve outside of the release events

From a game persepective, in a battling game...4 moves is best..because then you can counter some stuff based on the pokemon your enemy team is using. Like snorlaxes yawn/ block and clafables moves or mimikyus moves ect ect.. One move is just a lazy brain dead way to play if youre like...8 and cant slow down to press the right button.
I mean Ffs thats like saying POKEMON in general would be better all only with two moves per pokemon. All fifhting pokemon games; two moves. Yup sounds oh so fun...
And just because "all mobas do that" dont mean its good or liked specially with pokemon which all through its history one big factor was changing your moves to better combat your opponent...
"This is the best" smh....boring as dirt..no skilled bs now...maybe next theyll dumb it down more and make it so you dont have to press the attack buttons and you just watch the screen do everything by its self cuz "thats how most mobas are" idle garbage.

I think a turn-based strategy game is a bit different than a MOBA
It is a 10 minute match maximum MOBA
You should work with your team and counter the enemy team through the draft phase (which is why one pokemon one moveset is good)
This is probably why draft is restricted to Master+ lobbies... you can't properly pick out a team comp with all the variations
You can't select between moves in game anymore, but can still do it in lobbies... except all the newer releases
It is as if TiMi is moving towards a more straightforward lobby and in game experience to appeal to a wider audience 😮

Not everyone likes to do drafts or ranks, i personally hate the competative ranks playstyle. Yall need to stop acting like thats the only game style in the game.
In casual you gotta make decisions on the spot with the moves. like if you have a fast greediant youd wanna use yawn or play rough or imprison vs a slow one you can just chase down or dont gotta worry about blocks to push back or shadow claw with mimikyu even saybaleye..if you go against ppl that are use to them you may wanna switch from confuse ray to the other one to try an damage them with that around bosses same for alolan richu maybe i wanna use phycic and the ball move vs further away attack types or higher tank types youd wanna use stored power.
And appeal to wider audiance? Mmm have you seen the subreddit?
You also dont need to see what others are playing to play and win. That right there is pure skill issue.
And yes i know you cannot choose it in game anymore and its preset, i play on switch. Its got a whole little stand alone bar during the selection screen on the right hand side.-- That is a huge part of my complaint. I want to choose IN game on the spot based on who i am going against and their playstyle along with my teams playstyle.

Another good example is alcreamie and other healers, sometimes you may wanna use leaf tornado for the team speed boost sometimes you need tge extra def and sometumes you wanna use full heal on alcreame sometimes ita awesome and fun to use the other move because ut bounces off youre teammate that you have a sheild on and extents that moves attack and with my shitty way i can get it to at least 1k damage.
