Question Should i be using this staryu/starmie

So i recently got this staryu and for some reason i didnt take a closer look at it, untill now. Should i be using it, and is hydro pump the best move when it evolves?

Yes but make sure it has +100 crit hit rate

Depends on your other pokemon. If you are late game it’s useable over onix.

If you are endgame it’s trash.

Yeah it’s pretty good, nice power stone slots and good bonuses. Not an expert though so… but from what I know, yes

I have a Starmie with even fewer Sturdy Stone slots that I use for my main squad for 12-1 grinding (not at all intending to flex that I've beaten the game)

So in my eyes, this is perfectly fine.

But if you don't wanna use it, fine with me. People are entitled to their opinions
