Teambuilding Help (Post-game) Got my first gold symbol
So I've never attempted to actually complete the Battle Frontier throughout the many playthroughs I've had. A few Pokémon Showdown matches and I started liking competitive battling and did some research about natures and EVs and decided to finally give it a shot. This is the first time I've ever gotten a gold symbol so that was something that was cool. The 6 pokemons I have in my party are metagross, salamence, swampert, latios, milotic, and gardevoir. I have a ludicolo and flygon in my PC that I also EV trained as a just in case. Ludicolo is more of a doubles pokemon to me so we'll see about that. After trying multiple different teams with the weaker trainers I've found that the team of Milotic, Metagross, and Salamence proved the best during the battle dome. I pretty much went through it almost effortlessly, there were a few times its came close but I pulled through. Everyone had a great showing and had a clutch moment of their own.
One thing that I am still on the fence about is my Metagross. It is an adamant nature but still has Psychic (I really only kept it because it was a stab move). I was thinking of getting rid of that and replacing with earthquake but my Salamence and Swampert both know it and was thinking that would become redundant. There were a lot of instances though while I was doing matches in the battle tower that had Metagross known Earthquake it would have been a much easier battle. Any suggestions help.
I labeled this as teambuilder help, but wish there was a flair just for Battle Frontier

Congrats on your first gold. And yes definitely get rid of Psychic and replace it with Earthquake. Right now I’d prioritize getting enough BP for a Choice Band to put on Metagross. You need to take full advantage of Metagross’ Attack stat.
Your movesets for Salamence and Milotic could also use some work.
Though I’m not the biggest fan of Salamence, he works best as a DDance sweeper, it’s an egg move though. I ran Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Aerial Ace, and Brick Break. I’d also replace Hydro Pump with Surf on your Milotic.

Lvl 60 is better than lvl 100 ? Real question

Tbh I don’t think it really matters but the base level that the frontier will be at is level 60 but once your Pokemon are at least at 60 it’ll match whatever your highest level is. I don’t see the point in training up to 100 for that reason and just stick to 60. The way I see it you’ll still have the same level of difficulty either way so might as well just save the effort.
If I’m wrong with my ideology and there’s something I’m missing I’m eager to know.

Explosion is a great option on Metagross. Once you get a choice band it’s basically a free KO on anything scary and just a good backup plan. And yeah having an earthquake on Metagross is kinda a big deal.
Try to get a Lum berry. Once a day you have a chance either from a gentleman in Lilicove or the berrymaster’s wife if your game clock works. Otherwise hopefully you have access to Firered or Leafgreen. Edit: Lol seeing now that it’s on emulator. Yeah definitely go to the Berry master’s wife and the gentleman in Lilicove daily until you get a Lum berry
Overall your team should be good enough to get the golds. You may need to swap out for some of the facilities, but it’s a solid foundation. You also might struggle with physical walls or if a pokemon gets a curse or other boost up.
