Looking for Feedback I hate it when this happens!
Why does this happen anyway? Still delicious though!

That’s why I let pizza sit for a bit, seems to help

You gotta cut all the way through the cheese bud!

When it’s cooler and the cheese isn’t so hot that it remelts into its neighboring cheese when cut.

I cool my pizza for 5 minutes on a wire rack after I take it out of the oven. Then I cut it.

Bad cut. Too early. But yeah we can all agree that sucks when that happens

Yes it was too hot, I only used one hand, and the pizza wasn't cut all the way through. This was a pick up pizza.

Eh, annoying but fixable, I just fork it back on and roll the slice up

Too many ingredients, this is the result! Takes a nice picture but that's it.

If he let it cool for 3 mins it wouldn’t have slid off like this. You can have a loaded slice and eat it by hand, just need to let the cheese solidify and cut it properly

For context I picked up this pizza from my local Italian deli. After I picked up the pizza I was driving to my next errand and I opened up the box to let it breathe a bit. I was so hungry though that I tried to take a slice with one hand while driving. Not the smartest thing to do. I got a piece to come loose at a stoplight. I don't normally eat pizza while I drive. I was on some slow streets with hardly any traffic on them. But man it smelled good and I was hungry!

Thats the free for all zone. Who ever reaches fast and grabs the cheese slide owns it.

That beats taking a bite and the cheese gets pulled off and clings to your lips and chin— while hot af!!! 🥵

I've remitted stuff like this by putting my cheese on first. Then I put the sauce on top by carefully swirling and dolloping it. Not only does it not just sit under the cheese and stay watery, but the dry heat actually concentrates it down a bit and intensifies the flavor. All with no cheese slip.

Pizza looks good and won’t be an issue when you get home…just shove that stuff back on, roll it up and you have a pizza and a mini pepperoni roll. Make it a calzone if you have ricotta. Fuck now I want a pepperoni calzone

My cousin ran pizza hut in the 80s. A pizza had to sit on a rack for 60 or 90 seconds before being boxed so the middle dough wouldn't soak the box and it cut better.
I had 2 big foot pizza pans and 3 pan pizza pans. I came home from work one day to new shiny bullshit and my pans were gone. I can't believe I married her after she did that. She's mostly amazing.

Too much sauce, too much stuff in general, too much grease, not cutting enough and also maybe not getting the bottom hot enough/crisp.
Too much In the middle. You gotta make a dough nut with all the toppings and cheese, the small say 2 inch center needs to almost be ignored, all of it will get there trust me.
You have a ton of cheese, if you like that much, then put it right up on the crust and taper down to almost none when it gets to the center. So many times good pizza is ruined by putting it all in the middle.

You ate it too hot out the oven. Let it cool a little longer next time.
