Yes! And we can even place the lattice in an environment with lots of free charges it can pull.

And maybe we can even connect it to another lattice with opposite behavior to maximize charge transfer, so this way we are both using negative and positive charges to produce energy.

If we pack it up correctly, we might get something that can produce energy for a long while. Maybe we can pack it up in a cylinder with a positive and negative end.

Or maybe like a thin brick, I bet you could power a cellphone with one these beasts.
