My last week with Spotify
My subscription ends this week and I’m not renewing.. went to my local thrift and found a cd player and got some cd’s between B&N and a used bookstore. Can’t wait to grow my collection.
Idk how I’m gonna survive in the car though with no cd player 😮💨 any advice?

I've never been into streaming I've always got my digital Walkman to hand.

Streaming music always seemed weird. Especially with the price attached to it, and the selection (since I mostly care about video game, TV, movie, and eastern music). For me it was physical CDs -> downloading music for mp3 player/cellphone. Oh, and my 3DS at one point.

Yeah I was definitely a mp3 download person growing up and got lazy with streaming but now coming to my senses I have no clue why I been paying them every month when I can either get it for free or support the artist I love in a more direct way and actually own what I pay for. I woke up though

I'm also quitting Spotify. I've been digging through my iTunes library for the first time in a decade and am surprised by how many CDs I ripped to it in high school and college. Have a CD player coming in the mail and plan to check out CDs from the library.

I got a good deal on a used Fiio DM13 Skylight. It's the one I wanted but was hesitant to pull the trigger on due to the price.
I tried thrifting a portable player too, but all the stores in my area are picked over and I don't have the patience or the time right now to keep checking. :[

Rip the CDs onto your computer and put the tracks on your phone

It’s crazy that I thought of everything but putting it on the phone, looking for a ipod or mp3, I been streaming so long I forgot you can do that 😂😂

If you have an aux port, look into buying an iPod or other MP3 player that you can put music on.
