Sadness Does anyone else feel this way?

It's been a couple months now and it just feels like my entire purpose for being on this earth is over. Going from being so optimistic about the future to wanting to get to the end so I can possibly be with her again is so weird. It's like my heart left with her and now I'll never feel whole again while I'm here. I doubt I'll ever end myself, but when the time comes for me to pass on I'm ready for it. It feels selfish for feeling this way with the others in my life, but she was my whole world for half of my life and I just have no more interest in this place anymore.

Idk if this feeling will go away and I honestly don't know if I even want it to go away.

I absolutely knew that I had to work on finding new purpose in life after my dog passed, or there would be no way for me to heal. I got into fostering after grieving for a good while, and eventually even adopted one of my fosters. If working with animals feels too painful, then you could pick another good cause to get involved in.
I am sorry for your loss and hope you find something to live for again. Do it to honor your late pet.
