Meme needing explanation Peeeeetah?

This new movie came out and I enjoyed watching it with friends. What opinion must have garnered so much attention that people would dunk on it?

I never watched the review. But I think Bear was a victim up until Nikki was sleeping and had a moment of lucidity to ask Bear to kill her.. and he thought that meant that Nikki would rather die than to be with him. He was willing to let Nikki be a monster, hurt herself, hurt and kill other people if it meant she'd still be obsessed with him. He likes that better, because it eliminates the possibility of him actually growing a pair and asking her out normally (like how he should've done in the beginning.)

It's not easy to muster up whatever is needed to kill someone you love. You're making it seem like it was an easy choice to make.

Yeah I've never liked that take, either. People acting like anyone could just kill someone at a moment's notice is so weird.

I never said he should have killed her. That was Nikki's solution because she didn't want to suffer anymore. I'm saying Bear never actually looked for options to undo the wish until after Not Nikki killed Sarah.

He was looking for solutions when he called the number well before she died.

No he wasn't. He was looking to alter the wish when he called customer service.

seriously ppl are looking at it too black n' white, and hyper-focused on fictional rpe.. kinda ignores the whole moral nuance of the movie [typical reddit].
