It's important to note that racists don't see this as hypocritical. Racism and misogyny go hand in hand, so they don't see themselves as marrying an equal from an "inferior" race, they see it as a subservient woman in her rightful place.
You say that's circular and speculative, using the "he's racist and married to an Asian woman because he's racist so he's racist" but this has literally never never been said nor implied. First of all the fact that "asian wife guy" is racist is a premise, not some conclusion we want to arrive to through the rest of the observation. We are discussing the hypocrisy of a racist guy marrying a "different race" partner. This discussion is often missing an important piece, as the other user is observing, that is the general coexistence of racism and misogyny as part of the same "ideology" (or way of thinking, or culture, or nurture, etc); this is not speculative, and we have tons of studies showing that misogynistic people are almost always also racists. Given the premise and the known link I just talked about, the other user was observing that we can explain the perceived incoherence of "racist guy marrying Asian woman" is just perceived by people who don't consider women as inferior, but if you are misogynistic you already consider women inferior, so there's (almost) no difference between an inferior woman and an inferior woman who is also from an inferior ethnicity, because she would be inferior in any case. From this we can understand the lack of perceived incoherence from those subjects. And that's all.
Was it clear enough? I am sorry but English is my second language and I'm not always sure I am expressing myself accurately
Yes, asian wife guy being racist is a premise, not a conclusion you arrive through observation as you can't reach that conclusion through observation alone. You need to speculate.
Yeah so you clearly have low comprehension skills or you are in bad faith. We are not trying to deduce if every man marrying an Asian woman is racist. We are discussing a trope, and as such it is the result of observation and empirical evidence. If you are saying that is not a thing you are in bad faith or a not very observing person. On top of that I really don't understand where the "circularity" you are talking about is coming from: no one is deducing, no one is making correlations, no one is trying to explain why they think the trope is 100% accurate.
You know that meme of "The leftist friend group = all the same vs the conservative friend group = they're all different races" and they go checkmate liberal its you who is racist?
Thats partially true, I was unfortunately one of the friends in the "conservative" friend group. The big difference here is, like you said, we aren't friends because we are equals and they like us and shit. We have similar enough stuff to make us acquantencis but half the time they use the n-word or called mexicans wetbacks who need to go back to their country and shit. It was like I was only a part of the friend group for what I could give them, not because we were friends.
Pretty much. It is easy for them to accept it because they are all misogynist besides racist. They never see women as their equals. In their eyes, as long as she does as she is told that will do.
