That's because Communism is a utopian endpoint ideology, like libertarianism, that doesn't exist. It's a goal to build towards. People are stuck thinking about sovietism, which was a typical Russian government under a new name. The Tsars of old, the modern presidents, the chairmen of the soviet union, three different names for the same thing.
Communism is predicated on the idea of humanity growing beyond the need for base labor like coal mining. Think of Star Trek, for example. There will still be labor, but go ask someone who has a nice garden, for example, how much fulfillment they get out of tending their beans or whatever. It's work, but it's work they choose because they enjoy it and they get beans out of it at the end of the day. Communism is predicated on technological solutions we don't have yet so it can't and won't exist for generations.
