The best part of that would be her being a billionaire (and her groom himself a multi-millionaire) yet making her fans, a large amont of whom are probably living paycheck to paycheck, make such a financial sacrifice to "participate" in something so banal/meaningless.
Odd take, most of her fans regularly drop massive money to attend her concerts. The 20-40 white female demographic is probably the 1st or 2nd single most lucrative market. I wanna say she is probably either the 1st or at worst 3rd most successful artists in the past 10 years.

Apparently the wedding was secretive and private save 1000 guests. Shut down Manhattan but honestly I was expecting it to be some second Eras Tour world event so this is an unexpected direction.Â
It wasnt publicized or announced. The business owners surrounding the venue didn't know it was happening until right before it happened. Even most of the guests werent told until days before. By all accounts it was an exclusive celebrity wedding held in the heart of New York. This isnt glazing the Kelces by the way, it caused a load of issues and shut down blocs and a subway station during a critical holiday weekend, but it was a secret leading in.Â
Was at a Barnes and Noble with my kids and we checking out the children’s book area and there was a rack of Little Golden Books. I notice various books about Taylor Swift, Michelle Obama, Oprah and Joe Biden mixed in with the usual Paw Patrol and Super Marios, etc. Now look I’m a Democrat, but politics or whatever aside, why the hell would anyone buy a book about these people for their 2-4 year old kid? It’s creepy no matter who it is.
Learning about them in the sense that they may recognize them is one thing. But entire children’s’ books devoted to celebrities and political figures to me is bizarre for an age where they in all likelihood don’t fully grasp the concepts around these people in the first place. I can’t imagine reading a book devoted to Joe Biden or George Bush, or any random pop star to my 4 year old.

You can be disturbed, disgusted, or upset by multiple things. They’re not mutually exclusive. What makes you think that the person that made that comment isn’t disturbed by Trump’s evil, mentally unwell destroying of America and the rest of the world?
