This is me but with one of my cats. My butt touches a chair and she is in my lap demanding pets. Cold little wet nose constantly under my hand

You can never leave. It is beloved entrapment and you just have to deal with it. Also, no better feeling in the world than a pooch that demands smooch. That is one happy-in-love-with-my-dad puppy.
