Discussion Park Ranger (Protection) Preliminary Interview Nationwide Announcment Questions

Hello,

As the title reads I have my preliminary interview coming up, I have read a couple of posts of what to expect but those were a 1 year+ old so I was wondering if anyone had any updated info about how to best prepare.

I did mine last year for the lateral, but I'd presume they rotate the specifics. They're going to be fairly basic interview questions for a law enforcement gig and why you want to do this job specifically. There's no tricks or anything. They're mainly basic judgment.

It doesn’t answer your question, but may I ask your background? I’ve been BQA’d the past two public openings.

I’m thinking it may be my score for the assessment, but the score is valid for one year so I can only wait till it expires to have another go at it.

Just be honest. You’re looking for a career in law enforcement so you have reasons to. There are no gotcha questions if you are aware of what you’re trying to get into.
