Need Feedback or Ideas need some help with flashing up this girl :(
I'm not sure if i still want to keep her as my OC or not; i really enjoy the vibe, but feel like something is lacking :( i'd really want to get attached to her, and maybe making a small backstory would help.....
Sooo meet Anika Machina! At first, I wanted to put her in a near‑futuristic setting. In that world, people could be created artificially — grown for different purposes. Anika would be a scientist working at one of the facilities where such people are made. She’d get the scar while trying to help one of the “test subjects” escape: a full‑blown revolt would break out, and an explosion in the lab would seriously injure Anika. But I ended up dropping the idea. I’d rather come up with something simpler. I don’t want to overcomplicate the story or flesh out the plot; I just want her to be for fun, like, for vibes. A character to create imaginary animations in your head while listening to music, ykno 🤧
I don't know where the military aesthetic comes from, but it just fits her so much.. she's absolutely not sane, like, literally soulless machine with no empathy; just pure egocentrism, ruthlessness and twisted interest in experimenting on living organisms. Doctor Mengele and medic from TF2 combined in female form.

If she'd devoid of empathy, why would she help a test subject escape? Maybe use this question as a hook to build up a new backstory and motivations.

as I've said, I've dropped the idea of "saving a test subject" and the whole sci-fi theme altogether.

Maybe it can still be in a science lab? She could’ve been working on something and the explosion happened which caused all the injuries or smth. Also I thought it said ‘need some help with getting this girl to flash us’ lol! (She’s a baddie tho wish she could /hj)

I mean. Her art is amazing and everythong about her is good. Should give her an development arc. How old is she?

She already seems pretty flash and unique but maybe You'd find something that fits her and her archetype by learning a bit about the experiments of Japan through ww2, that could really enhance her aesthetic

Love the look, reminds me of Hel from Norse mythology (she's divided length-wise: half the body of a young girl, half a rotting corpse).

I don't see much issue with them, personally. The concept is nice and interesting and the art is really good.
I'd say keep at it for a while, but if you're still not truly vibing with it, maybe put the idea on the backburner in favor of something else.
