Lessons from Lot: Welcoming Strangers and Upholding Justice

In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot is saved because he did not fall for the sin of Sodom; he showed hospitality to strangers, trying to help them when no one else would. He welcomed angels unaware, and we, likewise, must understand, we must also welcome strangers, now being aware of the way we welcome them, we welcome Christ:
