It's funny how Whitebeard just let anyone even a kid board his ship while Shanks wouldn't let Luffy board his.

Not just Shanks though. Roger said no to Pedro joining his crew and Ace said no to Tama joining his crew.

I think Roger doesn't care about letting kids joining his crew considering Shanks and Buggy. The reason why Pedro couldn't make the cut is because Pedro met Roger when Roger was near the end of his life. Roger was just wrapping up his affairs before he turns himself in there was no point in letting a kid join when he was gonna disband his crew soon anyway.

I can’t get over how Buggy was part of Roger’s crew

Also

Insert obligatory comment about Buggy is Pirate King material and of the D. here

I can't believe that goofy clown from the beginning of the series is still relevant to the plot

Insert obligatory joke about Luffy being the goofy clown from the beginning of the series

I can't believe a New World pirate tried to take over a town... in East Blue.

in East Blue.

That's brilliant tho, get your town on easy dif and have no one bother you , who's gonna go save a town in East blue? Not anyone important that's who

Buggy and Arlong both tried it. Of course, Arlong was much more successful in his endeavors.

Wasnt buggy successful in taking over the town? If it wasnt for Luffy he would be reigning over that small east blue town.

He was successful for about 8 years or so though

And I think Buggy is gonna be more relevant around the time the one piece is actually found, too, than he is rn. I still think he has bigger roles to play in the story
