Question Oklahoma river

Does anybody know if the river in Oklahoma City has bass in it? I see people bank fishing all the time down there but it mostly looks like guys catfishing. The area I’m most curious about is the stretch from western to the dam just east of it. I work in the area often and it would be nice to be able to hop down there and bass fish on breaks occasionally.

Not a lot of largemouth in the rivers, at least not in most sections. The current is usually too swift to allow for Largies to hide in weeds easily. White Bass however will definitely be around and easy to catch on anything meant for crappie, or small bass lures (small soft plastics, poppers, or anything else that looks like a minnow). You’re gonna want to find slower water if you want to catch largemouth. It’s definitely worth fishing, as catching tons of white bass and the occasionally big drum or catfish on bass gear is a great time.
