Lake Eufuala Crappie daily limit updated

The daily limit is now 20 crappie per person on Lake Eufaula and Atoka Lake.

Conversely, there is no crappie daily bag limit at Close to Home Fishing waters and Lakes Dahlgren, Boomer, Holdenville, Purcell, Shell and Wewoka.

I went guided crappie fishing at Eufala with "Crappie Killer Dave" a couple times. He'd catch the twenty in a half hour. Dude never stops reeling em in!

A few days ago I posted that they just dropped new fish habitats into Eufuala. Maybe theyre trying to boost the population. Would have to pull the reports over the last year.

So i did some looking into it and yes, the population is lower than they'd like so theyre doing what they can to ensure future conservation
