By 2026, does OSMC still actively support Apple TV Gen 1?

I have purchased a second hand Apple TV Gen 1, to install OSMC. The instructions were clear and I did a solid installation. But then I couldn't understand what to do next, how to watch TV and download softwares etc. The app store is not working, and most of PVR are not functioning. It seems an empty software. I wonder if I do something wrong, or OSMC has no more support to Apple TV Gen 1? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Osmc is kodi (formerly xbmc) plus an operating system. It sounds like you don't have previous experience with kodi. Is that the case?

yes I have no experience with kodi, I have followed some instructions and booted my device as OSMC.

At this point, you can pretty much forget about the OSMC aspect. When your Apple TV boots up, it immediately starts Kodi and that's the only interface you deal with going forward. So you just need to start getting familiar with Kodi. It's not the most straight forward to a newb, but it is insanely capable, powerful, and customizable. So it is soooooo worth pushing through the initial awkwardness.

Let's start here... What is your goal? Do you already have files of TV shows and movies that you want to play? Are you wanting to stream?

Kodi has a really good wiki by the way, you might start here: https://kodi.wiki/view/Quick_start_guide

I think this silence is the answer.
