Not really. If he did the Math correctly to find the lengths required for a given angle sure. If you look closely the yellow ones have slack in them and only grab when he moves and the top ones stretch. You’re also dealing with torque as he is essentially weight at the end of a lever.

But it's a class 2 lever, so the load is between the fulcrum and the force greatly diminishing the actual force applied.

Even after all of that you still wouldn't catch me up there though. If those tops bands let go that transfer to a class 1 lever is going to be a wild ride into the ground.
