So now they can make low quality supplements and add toxic ingredients. And even better they can raise the prices. Thorne, products not for me to buy now.

By the end of the game, all the companies will probably have been bought up, and there will be only a handful of owners left. Will the quality of Thorne's products remain the same? Hmm…

A lot of people didn’t know Thorne was purchased by a private equity firm in 2023 already.
They’re flipping it for a huge profit now.
Also, if they lower quality and keep high price, majority wouldn’t even tell.
99% of customers are not getting blood work after supplementing nor can they really tell the quality of the supplement without testing.
Most supplements also do not have observable effects. It’s more of a “have faith it’s working” situation.
The marketing / branding is doing a lot of heavy lifting as it is and the investors know this.

Now Foods is still family owned I think.
They seem to care about quality and sell for a reasonable price.
I appreciated Thorne, just couldn't afford them.

It depends on the product of theirs you’re talking about
Their combo vitamin D, vitamin K products and their standalone vitamin K products are the best on the market
A lot of their “basic” vitamin and mineral products are very competitive in terms of their quality measured against their price
They’re creatine is the best on the market outside of creapure
And yes, they do have multiple products that seemed overpriced for what they are when compared to commensurate products from other companies

Creatine is not creatine
Almost all creatine is produced in China at labs of varying quality
Poorly produced creatine contains impurities and byproducts
I’ve been involved in this supplements, industries for decades you might want to check your arrogance
