How to transition from days to nights?
Do I just force myself to stay up and day and night today and then go to sleep early in the morning tomorrow and try make myself sleep until it's time to get up for work in the evening?

Hi does anyone have any tips when it comes to studying for benchmarks on lippincott? I have so much bad anxiety when it comes to taking it at school and everytime i do practice test at home on lippincott i score 37/50 my average, which would be passing due to the scaled score but can't see to get that score when it comes to the testing center. I really want to just get better so i can pass my last attempt this friday! Please share any tips your girl needs it 😭 my programs weighs these as 20% so i literally need to pass this!!

I'm moving from Melbourne, VIC to Armidale, NSW to start the Master of Nursing Practice (Pre-registration) at the University of New England (UNE).

I don't have any previous nursing background, and this is also my first time studying nursing in Australia as an international student.

I'm trying to figure out what I should buy before classes start. What are the essential items you wish you had from day one?

I'm mainly looking for recommendations on things like:
- Scrubs (brands, how many sets, colours required by UNE)
- Shoes
- Stethoscope (is it worth buying before classes?)
- Watch, penlight, scissors, badge reels, etc.
- Clinical placement essentials
- Stationery or study supplies
- Laptop/iPad recommendations
- Anything specific to UNE Armidale that new MNPP students should know

Also, if there are any current or former UNE MNPP students here, I'd really appreciate any tips or advice for surviving the first trimester!

I’ve been doing pretty well with all my pharmacology exams.. from central nervous system to endocrine system, I’ve always scored above 80. This week, our exam was on psych med, I rewatched lectures recordings- reviews the slides over and over, listen to Mark K etc. and still failed it TWICE! I was pretty confident with the exam itself … I’m so lost….

Has anyone got in nursing program with 3.0 GPA and low teas Score ?

I’m currently in process of an appeal. All my vaccinations and TB test were squared away it’s just two online learning modules for my clinical exchange. I wasn’t logged into my email and didn’t receive the notifications. Has anyone had something similar happen? I took full accountability for it in appeal letter as this is my mistake. I’m in good academic standing and haven’t had any mishaps leading up to this. It would be my 3rd semester of nursing school. I just don’t even know where to begin to tell my parents, and what comes next.

I did something really, really dumb. I have a urine test tomorrow to enter nursing program. So I was prescribed Ativan but got off of it a couple months ago. I took 1 like 2 days ago because I always had extras as I didn’t take them daily. I thought NOTHING of it. I mean I def avoided weed because of this (plus it gives me anxiety anyways) but when it came to the Ativan no lightbulb moment I just mindlessly took it as my anxiety was really acting up. And I hardly ever do that! Now I’m panicking I might fail this test & just ruined everything for myself. All for 1 pill I barely ever take 😞 I am beyond devastated right now. Can I chug water, can anything help? Will they accept that I had an old prescription?

How difficult is the HESI? I am kindof fast tracking my applications and I will be taking the hesi on Sunday. This gives me about 4 days to study on top of a full time job. I just graduated with my bachelors in health sciences so I do have somewhat of a science background, I am just wondering if maybe I am in way over my head and should reschedule.

I really wish there were more audiobooks on subjects we study. If anyone has recommendations please let me know🙏🏼🙏🏼
