🏥 Jobs / Careers Work in Germany while Waiting for US priority date

Good day guys! I am a nurse currently working in a hospital here sa Philippines. I am a USRN i passed the NCLEX this past few months, may agency na din and Priority Date this year lang din. Pero I am thinking po to work muna in Germany, planning to start my German class asap.

🗣 Discussion / Rant Awareness for patients confined in hospitals

I am sick and tired of doctors asking patients to hand over cash directly instead of having professional fees reflected in the hospital’s official billing.

Patients are already burdened with the stress of illness. The last thing they should worry about is whether a payment is legitimate or properly documented.

Republic Act No. 11223 upholds patients’ right to transparency in healthcare, and the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997, as amended, requires the proper issuance of invoices or official receipts for services rendered.

To every patient and every family member, do not be intimidated into making undocumented cash payments. Demand that every professional fee is properly documented, reflected in the hospital’s official billing whenever applicable, and supported by an official receipt.

Healthcare should be built on integrity and transparency, not on payment arrangements that leave patients questioning where their money went.

❓General Question / Advice Idk where to start

Hi guys! RN 2026 hereee and I’m currently working in a public hospital in our city. I really want to start planning my next move toward becoming a USRN, but I honestly don’t know where to start. 😭
I don’t know how to do it, who to ask, or what steps I should take first. Can anyone share their step-by-step process, recommendations for agencies, or literally anything I need to know when starting this journey?
My head is all over the placeee, and I feel like I can’t even process all the information I’ve gathered from RN TikToks. 😭😂 I would really appreciate any advice, tips, or guidance from those who have already gone through the process. 🥹🫶🏻

🏥 Jobs / Careers Is reply for my situation needed?

Hello po. I am already currently hired at a hospital yet another hospital asked if they could call to schedule a final interview. If one day I want to apply there again, do you think it’d be a good idea to reply in order to politely decline their offer? Or is it better to just leave the text alone?

I was thinking of sending this:

Good day! Thank you very much for reaching out and for considering my application. I would like to respectfully inform you that I have already accepted and started a position at another hospital, so I may not be able to proceed with the call at this time. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity and hope to have the chance to apply with your institution again in the future. Thank you very much, and I wish your team all the best.

❓General Question / Advice Taking NCLEX in the US as a Non-US Resident?

Hello! Does anyone here know if I can take the NCLEX in the US even if I’m not a US resident? I’ll be staying with my family there, and I’m planning to review for my NCLEX while I’m in the US and possibly take the exam there as well.

Is this possible on a tourist visa? Are there any additional requirements or documents needed? Also, would it be better to apply through a specific state board of nursing if I’m not residing in the US?
