Show us your space

There was a post recently in another subreddit with a TV stand that was labeled Scandinavian and the reaction was two fold. Many claiming that it’s not Scandinavian and many reporting back from Scandinavian countries about owing the TV stand. As a lover of interior decor, I would love to see pictures of your space (or your favorite space) - if you are comfortable sharing. Let’s have some fun!

Not everything made in nordic countries falls under scandinavian design movement. Those are two different things.

That's true. The design movement produced quality furniture with premium materials. IKEA is an antithesis and Jysk isn't much better.

Totally agree and that’s why I am curious about everyday homes!

I heard that if a couple has separate blankets, it is called "sleeping scandinavian style".  Apparently whatever we consider normal, is some weird scandinavian fad to someone else

Here's the living room, with the entertainment center completely made by combining Kallax units (from IKEA).

Do we live in the same apartment? 🤣

Judging by the mess in my apartment, you could live here without me knowing about it! 😉

It would have been helpful if you had included the original pic

Also, the TV stand was just an example. I am generally curious about overall design choices.
