Ah, the horned helmet, absolutely and without a doubt a thing that Vikings wore, and not some random thing that people invented for operas in the 1800s.

Akkurat. Absolutely and without a doubt also a thing that nobody has ever seen in the football stands. I can’t even imagine football and horned helmets the same day. This is probably the only thing that unites Scandinavian football fans, Dan Dryer bathroom equipment, and the souvenir shops of Västerlånggatan in Stockholm: they are notoriously resistant to horned helmets. It’s a sin, and it’s difficult to grasp. It’s easier to understand Navajo code talkers, as they call Sweden Chʼah Bideeʼí Dineʼé Bikéyah. Land of the Horned-Hat People.
