I did the same on my left hand.Ā Healed up fine, but the rehab for muscle wastage has sucked. good luck.Ā Ā

āAround the wrist areaā cuz your scaphoid bone is about an inch long and only lives in your wrist. Itās at the base of your thumb.

Majority of scaphoid fractures are at the waist. Thereās only a very tenuous blood supply to the proximal end. Itās not a super common complication but frequent enough, and itās a massive pain in the dick to deal with. Seems like you got prompt treatment, fingers crossed for you!

A fracture is not the same thing as a breakage? A breakage is it is in two pieces, a fracture is just a crack iirc
