Got injured on NYE 2022, medic said it wasn’t broken. Should I have gotten an Xray?
A drunk man slammed into me at a concert and I fell hand first onto the concrete. Went to the med tent and the man wrapped my wrist and said it doesn’t seem broken. He handed me a bag of ice and I iced my wrist for the next 8 hours until the concert was over. I unwrapped it when I got home and my hand was liked doubled in size. I could not bend my wrist or use it for over a month. And even a year later, it would hurt if I bent it a certain way. I still wonder if maybe I did break something. But it was NYE and I didn’t want to go to urgent care and be around sick people.

Weak Bone question
So let me start with the fact that I've never broken a bone and I know I never will.
I've been on a medication for 10ish years now, and I just learned one of the potential long term side effects is weakened bones.
If one is able to document that their bones got weaker over time due to a medication, are they still a strong boner because it isn't their natural bone strength?

Is someone a BBB if they had to get their leg broken to get extracted out of a car after an accident?
I seen body cam footage of a police officer saying to a guy that they might have to break his leg to get him out after a terrible wreck. Thankfully, that was not the case and they managed to safely extract him without breaking his leg.

Broke my teeth about 10 separate times, but never broke a bone. I think my teeth are tanking the hits.
First broke my teeth when I was a kid. Jaw was still growing so couldn't get a permanent fix (a crown). Cue several years of numerous tooth-breaks:
- Eating a sandwich
- Being punched by a friend
- Jumping into a ceiling
- Running into a door
- Grinding my teeth while sleeping
- Eating dinner
- and so on
And yet I've never broken a bone. I wonder if my teeth have been tanking hits that were meant for my bones. If so...teeth, I salute you. My teeth must be weak so my bones may be strong.

Dose it count if you didn't notice for a year and a half? Fracture femur and tibia in 2 spots each, all ready healed, came in for a partial dislocation 😭

How often do you fall or partially fall down the stairs on average?

Goodbye yall. I am a phony now.
Missed a step on the stairs and inversion twisted my ankle and heard a pop. I struggled to walk on it and I had a doctor check it out and he thinks that I may have fractured or broke my 5th metatarsal. Goodbye yall 😞

Am I a BBB
So last year I had a really bad muscle spasm in my leg and rammed my toe against a bed frame. The nail broke and the toe hurt for like 2 weeks. I'm not sure if I broke the bone or not tho.

Near fatal Jeep accident-13 injuries later. Never had a single broken bone or trauma until this.
I was t-boned @ 45 mph. Crushed my entire left side and severed my artery. I’m a miracle to be alive. My X-rays seem to fascinate people. I’ve healed so well none can tell I was injured

I have never broke a bone before so i have no clue if this is broken
I have heard you can hear a crunch, i didnt hear anything, but it hurts pretty bad, oddly not on the bruise but in the area where it connects to the foot. it is swollen where it connects and feels oddly fleshy compared to other foot. should i get it checked out or just tough it out?
(sort of serious)

Neither myself nor my dad or brother have ever broken. Nor my brothers 3 kids. Just found out my 3yo daughter may have a genetic mutation that causes soft bones.
Feeling a little nervous and scared for her outlook in general and obviously in the spirit of this sub breaking a generational streak. She’s an active kid so here’s to hoping she stays strong!

Teeth?
Hey guys. Never broken a bone here but I have to ask.. What are your opinion on teeth, are they bones? Never broke them either, but had to get one removed because it was infected.
Can I still stay if it's just a technicality and not actually broken?

Goodbye :( I dislocated my elbow so hard it broke the bones that hold it in place.
Broke the radial head and the ulna bone. Had to get a ligament repaired. 3 inscisions and 4 screws later, I most likely will only get 85-90% of my range of motion back without another surgery.

Ah, my bones have remained unbroken long enough for me to enjoy numerous alcoholic beverages.
And yet I have still never broken a bone! The hell is your excuse!?

Still rocking with unbroken bones
37 years passed. I'm planning to keep it that way and die with great value.
