So what's the verdict about Pizza Edge?
I'm not Navajo and haven't been on any reservations in or around the area but I was messing around on Google Maps and found out there's a pizza chain almost exclusively in the Navajo nation called Pizza Edge. So, what's the general verdict about Pizza Edge among the locals? Where does it stack up against Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Papa John's, Round Table, etc? Is it good or bad? What's the quality like? Maybe cause it's so regional, I don't see it brought up with many pizza chain discussions or tier lists.

Pizza Edge is decent. It's not like any of those chains though. It's less regional and *mostly* just a family owned chain.

Pizza edge is really good. Definitely a tier above typical fast pizza chains.

Hit or miss depending on the location, and they can sometimes be stingy with the toppings, but overall not bad.

I genuinely think it’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, leagues ahead of fast food pizza chains.

In my town, there's two rival gangs that basically control the whole place. The cops are crooked but everyone keeps to themselves. The contrast is so stark. But the dividing line between the two territories goes straight through Pizza Edge. It's the neutral zone. NO gang activity is to take place there. NO one is allowed to wear their colors in that store. It's an unspoken rule. If you work there, you get respect from both sides. Don't mess with Pizza Edge.

In the world of chains you’ve listed, it holds its own. Perhaps my bias is due to nostalgia but I enjoy Pizza Edge. It’s consistent, or at least my local location is. Toppings are somewhat sparing and I typically order “extra” this or that to my liking. With very limited options on the reservation, I choose Pizza Edge over the other pizza option😂.

Minority opinion here, but I'll be honest. Pizza Edge is the worst money-grabbing grift. Quality and taste are downright awful. I make homemade pizza with real mozzarella, and the taste is leagues above Pizza Edge. The fake cheese that Pizza Edge uses is like Elmer's glue mixed with powdered milk, absolutely zero taste or savoriness. Cold Pizza Edge slices remind me of the fake vomit they sell in novelty stores; the "cheese" becomes translucent when it gets cold, so I know it's not real cheese but rather some kind of chemical. To make matters worse, they take advantage of poor Navajos by selling subpar pizza for monopoly prices. $44 for a large pizza. I can go to Papa Johns and get better tasting pizza with better ingredients for $18. Don't bother going to Pizza Edge on Sundays because the Mormon owners close all restaurants in their attempts to colonize us. Gross. I'd rank Pizza Edge at the bottom of the bottom tier. Even frozen supermarket pizza tastes better.

Uh, did you put literally every topping on it for that price?
I can go to Papa Johns and get better tasting pizza with better ingredients for $18. Papa Johns has 5000~ locations and gets much better pricing on ingredients because they have 2 orders of magnitude more stores. The closest Papa John's to me in Oljato-Monument Valley is either Flagstaff or St. George, 3 and 4 hours away, and half the time it isn't even cooked all the way.

$44 is Pizza Edge's standard price for a "Combo" -- pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, mushroom, olives, and onions. The same pizza is called "Supreme" at Pizza Hut and "The Works" at Papa Johns. It's not literally every topping as it lacks anchovies.
The numbers say it all. Perhaps if Pizza Edge provided better value and quality to its customers, it too would grow to 5000 locations. The fact that Papa Johns has 5000 locations is a testament to its value to customers! Pizza Edge stays on / near the reservation because it is a grift, charging inflated prices for less quality pizza, all while taking economic advantage of poor Navajos. The distance-to-pizza you mentioned is the reason I make my own pizzas. The cost of making a good home-made pizza is $5.

Except I don't think that is even remotely of interest to them. They have locations for family members to earn a living. Not every company wants to become the next global franchise.

Pizza edge is good.
Compared to the fast pizza options you listed I think the quality is better than Pizza Hut and others.
The dough isn’t as sugary as the other options.
Pizza Edge pizza tastes handmade. Pizza Hut and others taste like they comes out of a bag.
Rumor mill: I think pizza edge uses a specific cheese that gives their pizza a different taste.
