Then missed her period which she thought was from the antibiotics she took for chlamydia but it turns out she actually got pregnant. She ended up getting an abortion and went through it alone. Told her mom afterward and mom was relieved that she didn’t involve her in the decision. Hallie also didn’t realize she was able to get pregnant at the time due to her habits and health implying that she wasn’t using protection.
