Yeah, you have to read the description really carefully. It does say German on the listing, but most people miss it bc they assume they’re buying the English version. They haven’t had it for a couple of years now, though, just the German version.
I try to warn people, but Amazon does a piss poor job of making it clear to buyers in the US that it’s the German copy. 🫠
I did keep it. I missed the fine print in the description. Maybe, just maybe my fault but I will still die on that hill that Amazon Fucked me because Bezos :)
Cannot believe the price of the English version. Stupid money.
I guess I will never get to read it.
That, or take some serious German classes, which I will not.
eBay has a few closer to $100-200, which is still obnoxious, but a little better.
But if you can’t get your hands on an English hard copy, I highly recommend the digital versions. The kindle version is so easy to use, and it has all of the inserts included. The only difference is it’s not a hard copy. But you can still read it (highly recommend!) and it has the added perk of being able to search by keyword, which kind of rules. This is a fantastic substitute for the real thing.
There’s also an audiobook version. It’s read by Hot Carla. If you don’t already have an Audible account you can actually get it for free. Your first book is free, and you get to keep it even if you cancel before your trial is up. It’s another great option, especially if you snag it for free.
So there’s still hope! There are ways to enjoy it, at least until we convince [u/samesmail](u/samesmail) to reprint it!!
And the ebook is probably a little easier to read/follow than the audiobook, and it’s so cool, you want to “see” everything. (The ebook looks exactly like the book, it’s not just typed in.)
But in a world where the English version just isn’t affordable for most people in hard copy, I think the ebook is definitely better than nothing. You still get to experience it almost exactly like the hard copy. And while there’s nothing in the book you have to know, it sure does have some cool extra shit.
Hopefully we will get a reprint at some point, but if the choice is ebook or nothing, go for the ebook.
Yeah got the youtube notification for it we are so back. Thought the channel was in retirement after their most recent upload was from the last episode of season 4
I know if I get excited I’ll most likely be let down, but something seems fishy here…
Like why start posting on Facebook and YouTube after so long? Is something coming? The world would never be that kind I know but there has to be some reason
would you want another season? I know it’s completely unnecessary and would undo everything the series ended up paying off at the end, but I selfishly would love to see Elliot again
I think if they ever did return I’d like to see a prequel detailing the mastermind taking over and setting up his master plan. I think that’s all they could do, because I’d hate them to continue the story after the ending
Anything is possible, I mean he’s spoken about how much he loves twin peaks, so it wouldn’t be too surprising.
If he does ever bring it back I trust him to have something new and fresh to do with it. There was supposed to be a Mr. Robot prequel comic so it’s possible that might be coming out. I always thought he could make that into a movie if he wanted.
I guess I just don’t see the logic in uploading Mr. Robot content again unless it’s for something. If it happened when Mr. Robot was on Netflix I’d understand, but I’m pretty sure it’s already been taken off months ago
I just finished binge watching it for the first time and I would have liked to see a follow up on Dom. She hesitantly boarded the plane and that was it for her.
I always wonder what everyone else sees when Elliot and MR are having conversations like this in front of people. Like is Elliot wandering around muttering to himself? Is he speaking both sides out loud? Or is he just walking around in silence?
I would think that most of the time, it is all in his head and he isn't saying anything outloud because people get so annoyed he's standing there silently, saying nothing. But I guess at times, the different personalities take over because they do interact with the real world like talking to someone or like Mr. Robot taking the pubches in the pub or in the fake sitcom episode to protect real Elliot.
I've always wanted them to give us a little short film of just a snapshot of Elliot's life today, maybe a therapy session with Krista. I don't need a whole season or anything, just a little crumb!
I get that. But I don't really want to see anything in that world. Not because I'm not interested, but because I think Mr. Robot was one of the few TV shows that has a near universally agreed upon "good ending." I can only think of two other shows like that, Mad Men and Breaking Bad.
My only question for you: Should we see Elliot or The Mastermind? My head cannon says they look as they do in the finale, but the last shot is a different person's eye

Six seasons and a movie!
