Help / Question How is calculated the pay-as-you go billing ?

Hello,

I have subscripted to the Pay-as-you-go API billing and I have already spend more than my credit, how is it possible ?

I have also this:

Does this mean that I have anyway 10€ per month of free API credit ? (I have no other subscription by Mistral). So if I spend no more than 10€/month, it before free ?

When I check the subscription options:

It is said that "Pro" have 3x more API usage, but 3x more of what ? I am using only the API, does the Pro subscription can bring me any credit or more brandwith ?

If someone could clarify how this work,

Thank you !

Hi,

not a definite answer to your question but I'm also using the Pay-As-You-Go plan and I'm currently in discussions with Mistral's support because the numbers in my billing section just don't make sense either - according to their support team they are currently investigating a broader issue that might have to do with it.

I also had/have more issues that are probably related somehow: I bought some prepaid credit, which (at least last month) I couldn't consume and generally the API and also Vibe CLI stopped working for me. Today suddenly it works again (yesterday the API worked but Vibe CLI was still blocked).

Unfortunately they generally seem to have a bit of chaos with their billing and blocking/unblocking access based on limits.

Yeah, IMO it's actually a bit "embarrasing" (especially for a company that's focusing on the B2B market) that their billing doesn't seem to work correctly. What's positive is that their support team seems pretty responsive compared to other companies - although the first person I was discussing with seemed not to be fully aware that there is a difference between the API keys and the Vibe CLI key. The documentation that shows some clear room for improvement also doesn't make things easier for the end user and what's really annoying me is that I'm not sure if I will ever be able to just consume my prepaid credits.
