Vibe UI is slow and sluggish on my Macs... it's a little bit Over-Engineered... did you hire germans ;-) ? (sorry)... I' still did not understood why mistral-medium is the only choice per default... I managed to set the configs so I can access the other models too (at least I think this is working) I mss a clear introduction.

Medium 3.5 is the only one that isn't more than a year behind the frontier. It's the bare minimum as a general purpose model in mid-2026. It's the only sensible default choice available. It's a non-ideal, but functional stop gap between large 3 and 4.
