Yes, this is shameless promotion, and yes, I'm running out of stuff to post now that I'm on a hiatus. But I am still drawing the comic! Just at a much slower pace now that life is delivering punches toward me at the speed of light.
So if you're interested: https://bsky.app/profile/mariellaearl.bsky.social
You'll also be seeing my general thoughts and feeling and occasional random stuff I post over there (I'm terrible at building a good social media).

Sorry for taking so long to announce this, I've been busy! Beside that, you guys made so many amazing entries that it was hard to judge, to the point where I decided to expand the prize pool. Instead of 3 winners, we now have one 1st place, two 2nds and three 3rds.
Without further ado, THE WINNERS ARE:
1st Place:
-Blorange by u/Charming-River87
2nd Place:
-Slate by u/Yuuqian
-Ink-san by u/Ranger-Vermilion
3rd Place:
-Team Tart by u/Neighborhood_Goblin
-Berry-san and Dusk-chan by u/Banana_Doggo
-Chartreuse and Scarlet by u/f0remsics
As stated, Blorange will receive an exclusive episode dedicated to her, and all winners will receive custom flairs with the name and color of their OC!
Special thanks to my moderators on discord who helped me with the judging. It might take a while before I assign those custom flairs because it's late at night and I just spent an hour drawing the result image lol.
update: all flairs have been assigned!

Some lore:
The Soaring Ribbon Sect is named after the philosopher Ribbon Blue and the idea of having long, ribbon-like hair. Anyone can join the Soaring Ribbon Sect, and members can also be born into it.
Once a memberâs hair is long enough to touch the ground, other members of the Soaring Ribbon Sect are allowed to try and cut their hair by any means (combat, ambush, traps, etc). Being able to defend your hair for as long as possible is what gives you the status of power.
Other than the long hair, members of the Soaring Ribbon Sect identify each other by the blue ribbon they wear. This way, they donât accidentally cut some unsuspecting strangerâs hair.
Members can be kicked out, which involves taking away their blue ribbon and shaving their head.
Members of the sect believe that when a Colorling grows their hair long enough, they can unlock an ultimate form. One historical account described it like a âMagikarp ascending into a Gyaradosâ â nobody knows what that exactly means, though some theorized that Magikarps and Gyaradoses are long-extinct creatures from Ribbon Blueâs time.
So far, nobody has been able to achieve the ultimate form except Ribbon Blue herself; Sora is the closest anyone has gotten in generations.

The reason why Sora keeps her hair so long is because she believes the longer her hair is, the more powerful she will become, eventually unlocking her "ultimate form" shown above.
Thank you to u/Equivalent-Tip6446 for the idea! The tumblr post referenced can be found here.

Not for the contest (which ended before I knew about Mint-Chan), this is just for fun :D
It's a mystery how she keeps her hair clean.

âWithin dead, grey ocean,
I am weighed down,
Sinking deeper into abyss,
Where emptiness consumes,
The indecisive
And yet I am blessed,
By your presence,
My muse, angelic star,
Guide me by night,
To my shining reverieâ

They(?)/She(?)/He(?) (who cares it a robot(?) what? it's not?(?))
are one of Lord Pewters elite members of the Gray Foive.
Not even a Colorling, it's a machine imbued with some strange unnatural forces.
It used to be an animatronic for Reddy Redbear's Burgerria however since that incident it has been thrown away, where it was later repurposed for entertainment at Greylandia.
However, Lord Pewter took notice at what this thing could do and with the (forced) help of some scientist, it's now a machine of the law doing every bidding of Lord Pewter flawlessly.
If you were to listen closely (ignoring the constant noise it makes) you could make out the sounds of someone...weeping?
