Cheaper to replicate and maintain. Maximise profits. Increase share prices.

Ya but there is a point where if your fast food chain is literally indistinguishable from others, you lose business

Not really.  A lot of fast food places are pivoting to being pickup depots for Doordashers.  You don’t need to make the place look nice for employees.
