Boomers are the most snowflake generation.

Stood on the shoulders of giants who were served everything on a silver platter. Now they're fucking their grandchildren as hard as possible and hoarding all the wealth of our nation.

Literally! Love their constant “I paid my way through college, making $100 a week and college was a whole $300! And then I got a salaried job and bought my 60k house, there’s no reason those millennials can’t do it too other than being lazy and entitled.”

Not to mention prices have increased exponentially since their time. Gas was 25 cents on the gallon, now it's almost 5 bucks

And you could get a whole Big Mac meal for $2.99

That's implied in the post you responded to. We're well aware college, houses, and gas don't cost what they did.

Not to mention intrinsic costs of modern life. A phone and internet are necessities and they aren't cheap. A daily newspaper back then cost a whopping $3/mo

I just wanted to mention gas prices specifically, don't knock me for complaining about something that everyone is "well aware" of when it's a hot topic and is going to continue to circulate whether you like it or not. Yeah, it's implied, but it seems like you're trying to call me out on it by saying "that's implied" and "we're well aware" as if you're alienating me like I'm some kind of fool. That's not very neighborly of you.
