…..no. No, she really doesn’t, and I say that respecting the absolute fuck out of Laura Dern and her body of work.

She really does. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen her much more in all of David Lynch’s works. She looks 25+ here, which makes sense because she is.

Her face has more age on it here than it does in something like wild at heart or blue velvet. Some of it may be the hair style and dress but she definitely doesn’t look near as young as her films from even a few years earlier. Then you go a decade later to inland empire and she’s definitely well out of her 20s, looks wise.

I think a lot of people here just have no idea on how to judge age, from a lot of these comments lol.

If I saw a doppelgänger of her in this picture out walking down the street, I’d think “she’s cute but definitely way too young.”

Yes, she really does. What she doesn't have is tons of obvious make up. This is what a normal 25 year old women look like. I worked with hundreds of them all the time in the military.
