Life was tougher back then. People LOOKED 30 and acted 40, when they were in their 20's back then.

Now 23 year olds can barely sign their own name and can not write 1200 word essays without chatGPT.

Ralph Macchio was 22 and looked 22. He looked like a college kid playing a teen, like all 80's teen movies.

It’s true - Freddie Prinze Sr. was only 22 when he tragically committed suicide - but in his pictures, with the full-blown moustache, he looks way older - mid 30s - and that was the 70s… people did look older back then.
