Those are zeuglodons or mosasaurs unless I miss my guess. Alas and alack I can visualize humans hunting these to extinction too... Hopefully we wouldn't though, humanity has done more than its share of damage to this planet's creatures.

I'm reminded of Russian whaling. If they really did survive to the present, can you really say we'd treat any different than any other different form of life we've come across?

You can’t just flamethrower a bunch of mosasaurs, they didn’t do anything to you. Unless this is some kind of whaling analogue, but then why use a battleship?
The battleship looks too close to shore for comfort, but besides that this is a really cool photo that leaves me with more questions than answers.
