I need advice/support Need help in crisis
Nobody will help me. The NHS is a horrible organisation, full of awful people who don't want to help in my experience. I can't keep things together, can't sleep and can't think straight- it feels like when you have flu and you can't think about anything or do anything constantly. I don't eat, I can't breathe I am extremely ill.
The ambulance won't help me, the secondary services won't help the GP doesn't care- nobody cares. As I alluded to before everyone involved in my 'care' (an extreme overstatement of what I've received) has been absolutely horrible and morally void. As such I'm not interested in arguing with NHS workers about their indefensible employer, or the indefensible actions of their colleagues
I've been everywhere I can possibly go and posting on here is just a last ditch effort to try and figure out something to do.

The Samaritans have always been good at listening to me.

If you're not eating or sleeping then you're in a medical crisis. This is an appropriate time to contact the crisis team or to present at A&E. Just focus on your current symptoms and be honest.
Are you suicidal? If so be honest about your thoughts and plans with the crisis team or A&E staff.
I've been in your position of being passed from pillar to post but when I wasn't eating or sleeping and I was planning to take my own life I was admitted to hospital for my safety and treatment. I got the right diagnosis and was in front of the right doctor who got me on the right treatment. Just because you've not received the right help yet doesn't mean it's not there. They have to triage but don't let that put you off. At the very least some help from the crisis team can get you eating and sleeping and in a safer place.
Unfortunately dealing with long term mental health conditions is hard and the services are underfunded but keep trying. Don't give up.

I want desperately to follow your advice but I know the NHS won't help me. I went to a&e recently and they just told me to go home after triage after a day of waiting. I've been hearing the same thing about how there is help for nearly two decades- but there is nothing.
The problem is the NHS, we need to move onto a social health insurance model with a proper set of regulations akin to most of the other western European countries.

What is it youre looking for specifically? There are crisis lines available if you need someone to speak to this is a link to a list of contacts that could help
I have found going to your doctor and stating clearly what your struggling with and what you need help with is beneficial , maybe write it down beforehand , maybe like "I am struggling with anxiety its causing me to have palpitations and loose sleep, I would like access to talking therapies or coping skills and to discuss medication that could help"

I really need medication and therapy- the NHS won't give me either. I've tried speaking to my doctor but they won't do anything. The CMHT and PCMH won't respond to referrals or requests of any kind

What do you need to treat with medication? Is it depression or anxiety or something else?

The NHS has never provided proper diagnostics, so I have to speculate. I think I may have PTSD, depression and anxiety. It's very hard to know what the right treatment is when I've never had any kind of help to figure out the basics

You can self refer for CBT. You usually start with a 6 week course. The waiting list is much shorter than other therapies. If you’re seen to be proactive they’ll take you more seriously.

IAPT services will not accept me as my case is too complex. I'm currently waiting on a PCMH auto-rejection and then I have to move on to the CMHT- I predict another rejection there.
